Microsemi Introduces New DOCSIS® 3.0 Voice-over-IP Solutions

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., July 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Microsemi Corporation (Nasdaq: MSCC), a leading provider of semiconductor solutions differentiated by power, security, reliability and performance, today introduced two new subscriber line interface circuits (SLICs) for voice-over-broadband cable applications. The dual- and single-channel Le9540 and Le9541, respectively, offer industry-leading low-power consumption and include features that allow product developers to cost-effectively add voice capabilities to DOCSIS^® and Euro-DOCSIS™3.0 modems. The new SLICs are available in production quantities now.
